The unit gives you ten versatile riding options to ensure the comfort of your child as they grow. It is the most recent model joining other models such as Graco Quattro and Graco Metro. Graco modes beat other strollers in the market due to its easy to fold feature and the lightweight nature.

This pram will give you the best in terms of efficiency, child safety, and also portability. The comfort on this buggy is top notch right from the strollers’ seat to the car seats with large wheels to protect your baby from bumps.

Things to consider before buying Graco Modes travel system

This travel system is ideal for parents who want to use the same toddler stroller from birth to when their kids are three years old. It may accommodate large children thanks to the adjustable footrest and the shoulder straps.

The stroller is also suitable for those who travel a lot. Due to an easy folding process, it is effortless to fold it, keep it at the back of your truck and unfold it as soon as you are out of the car. Another feature that favors this category is the lightweight nature of the stroller, making it easy to put it in and from the vehicle. The click connect feature makes it easy for you to join the stroller into the car without struggle making your journey comfortable.

Key Features:

The setup process: Easy to assemble

When we unboxed the stroller, it was all parts separate, but it took us a few minutes to put together. No tools are required to put it together, and we know that it is a relief to you and many other parents. It comes with an instructional manual which gives you a step by step procedure.

Before you put together, check that all the parts are available. Place the stroller on top of a protective cover to prevent the floor from being damaged.

  • Unlock the stroller by pulling it out, ensuring its completely latched.
  • Fasten the basket around the tube and button all the buttons.
  • Attach the rear axle by pulling the brakes. Ensure that the brake lever points towards the rear of the stroller.
  • Rotate the parking stand until in snaps into the axle tube
  • Attach the wheels by pushing straight side on a pin through the axle hole until the nail separates around the axle.
  • Attach the hub cup and repeat the procedure to fix the rear wheels.
  • Attach the seat by placing it on the mount until it locks into place on both sides of the stroller.
  • Insert armrests into slots on both sides of the stroller until they click into place perfectly.
  • Place the tray in position.
  • Fasten the hook on the rear of the canopy to position your awning. The canopy is zippered, which makes it easy to open and to close.

After these simple steps, your stroller should be ready to go.

Age range: Newborn to toddler

Graco travel system is the perfect stroller for your baby from infant to toddlerhood. The stroller will accommodate babies from 4 lbs to 50lbs, which is approximately up to the age of three years.

The carrycot is ideal for babies from the time they are born up to six months of age; your infant will look very comfortable. The car seat is perfect for your child until they are nine months old, while the position is right for your child up to three years of age.

It is easy to interact with your little one while in the carrycot, but the baby’s head needs to be precisely upright at the top to be able to see their face because the carrycot cover comes up bait high. You should also ensure that your baby seat is in a parent-facing position.

The seat is of the right size, which is padded to make your baby comfortable.

The infant seat carrier has three adjustable footrests positions, which allows room for your growing baby. The taller the baby gets, the more you may adjust the footrest area to suit their height.

The seat is reversible to allow the baby to face you or the world. It is effortless to switch from the world facing position to parent facing and vice versa. To change the direction, you’ll simply need to click the seat off and allow it to shift to your desired course. The 4-position reclining place can turn into an infant enclosure for comfortability. The seat may also recline to the infant bassinet.

Through click connect technology, the infant car seat can attach directly to the stroller frame for convenience and portability. This system allows a one-step attachment of the car seat to the stroller. You may choose to attach it forward-facing since it’s more flexible.

The toddler stroller has a forward-facing toddler seat with three-position adjustable leg rest for your growing child. It also got a 5 point adjustable harness which grows with your child. The point harness ensures that your child is safe even as you stroll on rough surfaces.

The car seat and the stroller seat are padded to make sure that your baby is comfortable and does not wake them when you stroll on bumpy terrains. It is also made with easy to clean material, which you can wipe in case of a diaper leak or spit.

The car seat base will stay strapped on your car and your child’s upper part as long as they are 4-35 pounds. The baby can be lifted out quickly and placed on the stroller facing any direction of your choice as you stroll.

The three positions adjustable shoulder strap will give your baby room to grow and ensure your child’s safety. To change the shoulder harness location, you need to unfasten the zipper on the rear of the seat, push the 5 point harness anchor into the front place, and insert the desired height.

Design: Classy

Graco travel system is designed using simple technology, which makes it practical for all on the go families. This stroller is designed to serve the family from when the baby is born to the toddler stage. The stroller will hold your child up to 55lbs giving you years of comfort and convenience. Its numerous features incorporate both style and efficiency to serve your family.

After opening the stroller box, we can affirm that we were impressed by how large it is. Both sets are of high quality with great head support, which supports the baby’s neck. We recommend this Modes model because it is not as expensive, you won’t have to buy the stroller and the car seat separately.

The modes stroller is compatible with all car seats, which include Graco click connect technology. Although there are a few of these car seats, you are not entirely bound to use only the Graco car seat.

It comes with an extra-large basket, which is more significant than other recent standard strollers. The basket is ideal for carrying many items that may accommodate your shopping and the large diaper pack. You may access the basket from the front of the stroller, making it easy for you to shop and pack your items as you continue your journey.

It comes with a large canopy which incorporates a peek a boo window to protect your child from sunlight. When the car seat is on, you may get the canopy to overlap completely to prevent any stranger from leaning over to touch your baby.

The front wheels are double wheels, and this makes the stroller sturdier. Our only fear was that the stroller might be uncomfortable because it is three-wheeled, but this was addressed by its lockable front wheels, making it feel like a four-wheeler when pushing.

The rear wheels are full, allowing you to get through bumpy paths comfortably. The wheels are plastic, which will save you the fear of punctures when strolling on rough surfaces. The wheel features also make the stroller easy to push, giving you a non-exhausting experience. The front swivel wheels are lockable to increase maneuverability.

The handle is nice to hold because of its foam coating, making steering and changing directions easy. The handle is positioned at an ideal height for most adults.

The brakes are easy to engage and disengage. To engage the brakes, push them down while to disengage push them up until you hear a click. The brakes are reliable, and they click entirely to ensure that they do not lock when you’re driving or unlock when you want to stop. The brakes are light, a feature that makes it possible for you to use them even in flip flops.

The toddlers’ stroller has a removable child’s tray and armrest, making it easy to place and remove the baby on the stroller.

It has two deep cup holders on both sides and a parent’s tray for convenience. The cup holders are deep enough to hold a large water bottle. In between the parent’s tray, the portion has a lid, making it safe to keep your keys.

The stroller has a full recline seat. To lower the seat, you should pull the handle and pull the chair downward. Recline the toddler’s seat to your desired position since there are four reclining positions. When you raise the seat, it pushes the place upward.

Portability: Easy to transport

The ease of carrying your stroller from one place to another is a factor you need to consider before buying your stroller. To understand how this stroller’s portable mode, read on as we will extensively discuss its weight and easy to fold and unfold feature on the next part of our review.

The stroller’s folding system and, in our view, is one of the critical selling strategies of this model. The handy fabric handle enables you to fold it easily with one hand.  Before folding, ensure that you unlock the swivel wheel as well as the brakes.

This is a one-hand standing stroller with automatic storage latch for convenience. Graco stroller is easy to fold in a short procedure that won’t take you more than one minute to complete.

  • Remove the car seat; unstrap it from the frame, and pull up to eradicate it.
  • Make sure that the storage latch is locked in place.
  • Collapse the stroller’s canopy; pull it against the upper handles, and tug the front side backward.
  • Tug a strap at the seats hinge. Note that the stroller should fold so that the seat surface is brought outside the stroller. The strap beneath where a child should sit can be tugged to fold your stroller.
  • The stroller gets completely compact when folded as it comes in at 104cm ×40.6cm×63.5cm when folded.

The snug ride 35 is comfortable to carry, lightweight, and convenient when you are not using your stroller. Moving it from your car is easy. You can also choose to travel with your child using the snug ride without using the stroller because of its riding options.

The Graco travel system allows the car seat to attach directly to the stroller frame for lightweight portability.

Safety: Safe from birth

Graco protects plus has engineered a combination of rigorous crash tests, which helps in protecting your child from rollover, frontal, and rear crash. The stroller and the car seats have undergone various criteria based on the car assessment program, which also involves interior car temperatures.

  • The car seat has sides impact tested to ensure your child is retained in position by the point harness system in case of a crash. The snug ride exceeds all the applicable US standard safety measures.
  • The EPS energy-absorbing foam helps to ensure effective impact energy management.
  • You should always check up on your stroller to ensure that your child is safe as you stroll.
  • Check the harness straps to verify that they are not twisted.
  • Check whether the loops of the shoulder strap are within the junction plate completely.
  • Confirm that the straps are secure by pulling them.

For extra safety, ensure that your infant restraints are appropriately reclined.

Price: Relatively cheap

Graco travel system retails between$ 450 and $480. We find this ideal for such a high standard buggy. Bearing in mind, you are buying a whole travel system, including a stroller and an infant car seat carrier. This travel system is worth more than its price. The features are attractive and better as compared to other items of the same standard.

Competition

UPPAbaby Cruz Travel system

Uppababy Cruz is designed similar to Graco modes, but it lacks some features. Like the modes stroller, we realized Cruz was one hand fold enabled, but the only difference is UPPAbaby Cruz did not become as compact as the Graco model stroller. They both have a large storage basket, but the one in modes is easily accessible from the rear side of the stroller.

The Cruz stroller does not feature the parent’s tray, but instead, it has an occupant bar while the Graco modes have a significant parent and child tray with two large cup holders. Unlike in Graco mode, the Cruz seat does not recline entirely, but instead, they encourage you to use their infant bassinet.

In Cruz, the handlebar is leather coated while the Graco mode handlebar is padded. The Cruz has a UPF 50+ canopy, which is extendable while the Graco modes have also got a large canopy. The only difference is in Graco modes, in which its sunshade is zippered. The Graco mode stroller seat has a tightness indicator and an auto-retracting latch covered by a fabric, a feature that you won’t find in a Cruz stroller.

Maxi- Cosi

Like the Graco mode stroller, Maxi- Cosi has a large seat that can hold a child until they attain a weight of 30 pounds. The only slight difference is the Graco Modes weight limit is up to 35 pounds. The fabric in both strollers is easy to wash, but cleaning is more comfortable for modes thanks to its removal pads and the wipeable material. Maxi Cosi retails between 450 and 500 dollars.

Chicco Bravo Trio Travel System

This stroller is sold at a price of between 300 and 350 dollars, which is slightly cheaper than the Graco model stroller. They both have adjustable front swivels, although Chicco bravo has wheel suspension while Graco modes stroller has plastic-like wheels.

They both have two cups holders, but the modes stroller has a lid covered area for keeping your keys located between the cup holders.

The Final Verdict: Graco Modes Travel System Review

After testing and examining the Graco modes travel system, we would recommend it for all family users. It has sheer weight with a durable frame, a feature that is not easily found in one item. It is easy to assemble even after unboxing it; all you do is follow a few steps, which are highlighted in the manufacturers manual. The stroller becomes compact after folding hence occupying a small space in your house or your truck. The stroller comes with an infant car seat and a rain cover. This is an ideal stroller for every family since it is easy to pull, and can be done by every adult in the household.
