The setup process – Easy, but detailed process

The setup process takes a few steps, which you can complete in less than ten minutes. No tools are required to help you assemble your unit. Here is a detailed guide to help you set up your stroller effectively.

• Open the frame by pushing the release on the chassis lock.
• Lift the frame upwards until the frame fits in position.
• Install the front wheels by pulling them into the mounting frame until they are well locked
• Install the rear wheels; hold the release button at the center of the wheel, slide the mounting into the housing and pull it until it locks.
• Engage the brakes by stepping on the brake pedal until the indicator turns red.
• Install the strollers’ seat (the seat can be fixed either rear-facing or the forward-facing). To attach the seat, insert the click and go adapter to its receiver on the stroller seat found on the frame.
• Push the adapter downwards until you hear a click. Pull up on both sides of the seat until it gets into the right position.
• Attach the canopy. Push the canopy clips on each side of the frames and make sure they interlock. Zip the canopy into the stroller.
• To access the peek-a-boo window, lift the cover and position it at the midpoint.
• Put in the shoulder harness pad by releasing the harness buckle and slide them into the shoulder straps. Fit the pads at the best sitting height for your baby.
• Install the child arm-bar by aligning the pins on each bar to the housing on the seat liner until it’s well locked
• Attach the under-seat basket liner by just zipping it in.

After these processes, your stroller is now ready to give you the best strolling experience. It is not necessary to disassociate your stroller every day. Instead, you can easily fold it to fit at the back of your car or the corner of your sitting room. The manufactures’ manual gives a detailed step by the step setup process.

Age range – Baby to toddler

Britax affinity stroller is equipped with various features, making it suitable for your baby from birth to toddler stage.

It comes with a baby insert that you attach to the seat. This allows you to use the stroller without necessarily utilizing the carrycot. The supplement is covered with a lovely fleece. You must remove the bumper bar to let your child lie without being completely covered. With the hood set up, the baby is a little exposed, which some parents find the air filled with ideal air circulation and natural lighting exposure. Even though it is not entirely a carrycot, most parents find this feature helpful. While using this stroller, we do not recommend overnight sleeping.

Folding process – quick and easy

You can choose to fold your Britax stroller with the sit-in or the seat removed.

To fold your unit without the seat, follow these easy steps.

• Put your fingers in the seating area where the pushchair and the lug connect and pull up.
• Locate the triggers below the handle
• Push the button on the right-hand side and pull the trigger in your direction

After these steps, your pram should be able to fold. It is also essential to understand that when folding the chassis, always make sure that the breaks are on. You should also not forget to engage the lock button while the front wheels touch the ground to prevent the metallic areas from being scratched.

Folding the pram with the seat will require some preparation, but it is still a straightforward process.

• Ensure that breaks are engaged.
• Place the seat in an upright position.
• Rotate the handles.
• Push the button on your right-hand side and pull the triggers in your direction.
• The chair will divide in the middle, and the handle will fall.
• Push the auto-lock button.
• Put the footrest at the right angle to make it more compact.

To engage the brakes, step on the brake pedal until the indicator turns red while disengaging, stepping on the brake pedal until the indicator turns green. With these color indicators, it is easy for you to tell when the brakes are on or off for the total safety of your baby.

Tires – Pneumatic with adjustable suspension

The back wheels of this unit are pneumatic, meaning they are rugged to enable them to handle rough terrains. The rear wheels are eleven inches while the front wheels are six inches and are made using hard rubber to help them withstand the rough terrains giving your baby a smooth ride.

For extra comfort, the pram also has an adjustable suspension at the back.

Leg-rest – adjustable in 4-positions

The leg rest area is made using durable material, which is easy to use and clean by wiping. The seat has four inclining positions. Although the seat does not lie entirely, it remains at a v-shaped position. This type is recommended for babies from six months and above. To recline the seat, press the two levers on the side of the seat.

The reclining positions will allow you to choose the most comfortable position for your child.

Shoulder harness – Highly Adjustable

Secure your baby using the five points harness. By locking the harness, you restrain the baby’s movement preventing them from falling even on bumpy terrains. Always engage the brakes before putting your baby on the stroller. Pull the shoulder straps towards the center from both directions. Position the crotch strap, and buckle them together.

Handles – Leather-look for Elegance

The handlebar can be adjusted from 32 to 41 inches. Affinity stroller articulates either upward to add to the height for tall parents and downwards for short parents. This ensures that the stroller is suitable for all parents tall and short in stature without bias.

The handlebar is wrapped using leather-like fabric, which is easy to wash. The handlebar has also got a handgrip in the middle of the bar, designed for one-hand steering. This feature enables the stroller to maneuver easily as it is one-handed.
